Nashua Flight Simulator provides its customers with two fully FAA approved AATD’s (Flight Simulators), an iGate 501 and a new iGate 512 with the widely acclaimed Garmin GNS 530. The iGATE ADVANTAGE features the latest digital technology and crystal clear LCD displays. These cutting-edge devices utilize precisely modeled flight dynamics with no analog instruments to calibrate, wear out or break. Train with accurate cockpit detail for maximum training transference from aircraft systems and avionics to navigation and flight procedures. Multiple aircraft models for training on simple, high performance or twin engine aircraft. On a single trainer, train on advanced avionics such as HSIs, RMIs, flight directors and GPS. Separate graphical instructor's station with print and record capability, comprehensive failure modes & weather modeling. We have programs and classes that can count toward the following:
the iGATE 501 Don’t take our word for it. The FAA is so impressed by the simulators we use that they currently use a similar one for their own training. Multiple aircraft models available, the Piper Archer (fixed single) with a standard AI and DG, ILS, VOR and the ADF; the Piper Arrow (complex single) features an HIS and Flight Director, Autopilot, DME, plus the second VOR; the Piper Seneca (multi-engine) offers the same array of avionics and instrumentation as the Arrow along with the complexities of the multi-engine operation.
The iGATE 512 w/GNS 530 This second piece of advanced technology expresses Nashua Flight Simulator’s continuing commitment to expand its offering of superior training opportunities and to provide our customers with advanced avionics choices that are representative of what is becoming commonly available in today’s increasingly high-tech GA cockpits. The new Garmin installations will utilize the actual Garmin 530 hardware device. This popular GPS unit is added to our new AATDs and integrated into our instrument proficiency programs. These cutting-edge devices utilize precisely modeled flight dynamics with no analog instruments to calibrate, wear out, or break. You can train with accurate cockpit detail for maximum training transference from aircraft systems and avionics to navigation and flight procedures. Multiple aircraft models include the Beech Bonanza (complex single), Beech Baron (multi-engine) and the Beech King Air B 200 (turboprop-multi-engine). Soon, we will add to this device a fixed single (C-172/PA 28) model to round out our portfolio of aircraft platforms for general aviation pilots. Additionally, you will be able to train on advanced avionics such as HSIs, RMIs DME and autopilot & flight directors. A separate graphical instructor's station with print and record capability, comprehensive failure modes & weather modeling will add to your array of training experiences. This flight simulator is great for teaching new instrument students, preparing for pre-hire evaluations or maintaining instrument currency and building instrument proficiency. Finally, these iGATE’s will give you maximum return on your instrument ticket investment.
